Set 100 years in the future, ...and we never went back envisions a world transformed beyond recognition. Decades of hurricanes, wildfires, tsunamis, droughts, and rising temperatures have reshaped Earth’s ecosystems, forcing all inhabitants—human and non-human alike—to adapt to new ways of living and surviving. Through the interplay of movement, words, and sound, a group of individuals gathers to share stories of migration and resilience, many centered on our deep interconnection with non-human kin. This is a tale of a forever-changed landscape and the impact on those who call it home.
